We are living in a society today that demands pluralistic tolerance of all religions regardless of how false ,misleading and alien they are to the Christian religion, this premise or should I say this pluralistic tolerance being entertained is to the average person the way to go as this approach is accepted as a civilized approach to religious pluralism.
Satan is having a field day as this approach has been used by him to diabolically attack the minds of many in the sphere of endless philosophical and religious debates leading to a dangerous pluralistic acceptance of an ecumenical merging of all philosphies and religions as long as the goal of mutual respect is achieved in relationship to pursuing one's own path to truth however that might be interpreted.
This dilemma is not new,mankind has always been driven by a sense of arrogant pride,this current approach in terms of so called civic pluralistic tolerance has become a major method by satan to destroy families across the globe especially this great Nation,we are seeing the rapid development of ecclesiastical Babylon ( False Church,the Great Harlot) taking place as alluded to in the book of Revelations 17 &18.
The current mindset of our society reflects a dangerous liberal take on embracing
all philosphies and religions under the pretext of intelligent and civilized tolerance.
This was the mindset that Joshua was faced with,despite the social pressure to be tolerant of other religious pathways Joshua had to stand his ground and declare in Joshua 24:15..."....Choose you this day whom you will serve.."
He was not willing to and he was determined that regardless of what the society was tolerating lifestyle wise he and his household was not going to be tolerant of,he had a standard he was going to live by and boldly he pursued and declared that pathway of righteousness to others around him.
Our society today is in the same unfortunate mindset,a destructive,compromising mindset,a mindset willing to accept all religious pursuits as pure and sacred.
The deception is readily accepted under the guise of intelligent karma........
the thought behind this is to make the critics of this falshood feel guilty and
"narrow minded",make them feel philosophically "stunted",that their minds are closed and therefore rendered intellectually incompetent to comprehend the bigger picture
which is one that depicts superior objective thinking.
The result of this deception has been devastating,wreaking spiritual havoc in the lives of people who are sold out to wanton and reckless living, people who desperately wants to hear the truth but are unable to because those with the truth are themselves partakers of reckless and wanton living fully dedicated to a life of fleshly appetites.
Our society today cries out today for the Joshuas in our mids't to stand their ground and declare boldly to our friends,families,strangers...the entire world...
" Choose you this day whom you will serve..."
As we find ourselves faced with this dilemma of apostasy and compromised tolerance
let us close in prayer:
" Lord Jesus we thank You for Your precious Blood which was shed at Calvary for our sins,fill us with the power of Your Holy Spirit that like Joshua we will go forth boldly and declare to the world "Choose you this day whom you will serve".. that
their lives will be challenged and changed by the Gospel message Your divine message of salvation and Love ..we ask You this in Your precious Name Lord Jesus our soon coming King..Amen.
